THE BABYS OFFICIAL UNOFFICIAL ARCHIVES, established on the 4th day, September 2005, shall serve as a constant reminder to those interested in the active cataloging of the band’s early foundation, world-wide success and bitter demise(s). Historical documentation that includes rehearsal-room billings, equipment receipts, offer sheets, signed recording contracts, early photographs, personal letters, newspaper/magazine articles, private memorandums, scraps of paper, countless royalty statements and never-published depositions rescued from a wretched sea of weathered court documents.
The centerpiece of this research rests within the ingratiating and enigmatic personality of Michael John Siddons~
Ultimately, what we end up with are cursory, loosely-based tales which differ greatly from the now accurately-documented history as told by those who tactically engaged long before a rehearsal room was stuffed with expensive gear and the doors were locked by The Babys’ true architect, Adrian Millar; and founding member, Michael Corby. It’s time that we answer the lingering questions. They say there are two sides to every story, and I believe this adage to be true. Therefore, the contents herein should register nicely, adding a colorful flavor to ‘the other side,’ spliced in with a somewhat irreverent blend of tongue ‘n’ check humour to assist in telling this awkwardly compelling website story…

It saddens us to think that with all original members still well within the age of possessing musical creativity, no incentive has ever been offered, nor discussions seriously considered…
THE BABYS OFFICIAL UNOFFICIAL ARCHIVES shall serve as a well-placed paraphrased-thought that “our own good will, matched to reason…has the ability to shape the lives of others.” This site may also encourage those with equally-inspired abilities to contact the archives for a possible engagement to discuss future considerations such as an enthusiastic, courageously reputable reissuing record label willing to explore either the possibilities of re-releasing The Babys’ entire recording catalogue or the robust, untapped stock of unreleased material which includes Adrian Millar’s privately-funded demo recordings and imagery from a carefully-crafted promotional film. Considerations should also be made for the negotiated release of once-popular network television show performances and The Babys’ original ten-song submission for its once highly-anticipated release known as ‘Head First.’
